ELEVATOR & ESCALATOR MODERNIZATION · WORK BY OTHERS
ELEVATOR & ESCALATOR MODERNIZATION · WORK BY OTHERS
When a modernization needs building-side work, hoistway, machine room, electrical, fire alarm, structure, we take the whole scope under one contract and have it inspection-ready when the mechanics need it.
INTRODUCTION
RiseWise is a Las Vegas general contractor for the building side of elevator and escalator modernization. The scope the elevator contract leaves out is the scope we take whole.
RiseWise is a Las Vegas general contractor for the building side of elevator and escalator modernization. The scope the elevator contract leaves out is the scope we take whole.

Every modernization drags building work behind it: fire-rated hoistways, compliant machine rooms, disconnects and shunt trips, alarm interface, structural patching, permits, and the fire marshal's sign-off. We survey it, price it, build it, and walk it through inspection under a single contract, so the elevator crew never leaves the elevator. Relationships are earned on schedule.
ONE
ONE
One contract carries every building-side trade, and one point of accountability from the first site walk to final sign-off.
DAYS
DAYS
From site walk to an itemized proposal formatted for your customer file. The building scope moves while your bid is still warm.
LOCAL
LOCAL
Based in Las Vegas, walking jobs here. Nevada code, local subs, local inspectors, and response measured in hours, not time zones.

02
Machine Room Compliance
Non-elevator systems out or properly enclosed, fire-rated self-closing doors, HVAC that holds controller temperature, lighting and clearances the inspector actually measures.

03
Electrical & Emergency Power
Fused lockable disconnects, shunt trip, GFCI protection, feeder work, and generator or ATS tie-ins sized for the new controller.

04
Fire Alarm & Life Safety
Detection in the machine room and hoistway, recall wiring to the new controller, sprinkler coordination, and an alarm interface tested before the AHJ ever sees it.

05
Structural, Mechanical & Finish
Pit work, cutting and patching, doors and frames, mechanical modifications, and the finish repairs that leave the building looking untouched.

OUR SOLUTION
Modernizations rarely stall in the hoistway. They stall in the building around it.
Scope Found Late
Building-side items surface after the bid, sometimes after the equipment ships. Every one of them moves the install date. We put a complete building scope on the table before the job starts.

Trades Without a Leader
An electrician, an alarm tech, a framer, and a mechanical sub who have never met, each waiting on another. When nobody owns the sequence, the schedule owns everyone. We own the sequence.

Machine Room Red Tags
The car runs perfectly and the room fails: storage that shouldn't be there, temperature out of range, the wrong door. The smallest room on the project kills more finals than the elevator does.

Fire Marshal Surprises
Alarm interface requirements discovered at the final walk instead of the first one. We start the AHJ and fire marshal conversation at the front of the job, where it costs days instead of months.

How We Work
The job runs in four moves.

01
Walk It
We walk the site with your mod rep or superintendent, check every building-side item against current code, and leave with a complete scope. No allowances, no discovery clauses doing the work a survey should have done.

Our subs, our sequence, our schedule risk. Trades arrive in the right order because one contractor answers for all of them, and that contractor is local.
